ISO 9001:2008 Transition Training: Be prepared - know the changes
The purpose of this course is to provide auditors, management representatives, quality managers, and business team leaders with knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 changes and tools for auditing and upgrading a quality management system to ISO 9001:2008. The course is service friendly because requirements are referenced as product/service requirements, not just product requirements, and product/service examples are included in the discussion. This course can be used for internal ISO 9001:2008 qualification of auditors and organization personnel.
The course clearly contrasts the differences between ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:2008, and interprets the concepts and terminology of the new standard. This self-paced, web-based course identifies potential nonconformities, potential opportunities for improvement, and contains configuration management review and important word definitions for auditing and upgrading QMS controls. Valuable job aids include: ISO 9001:2008 Transition Checklist with discussion points, course Desk Reference for ISO 9001:2008 Transition Training, and ISO 9001:2008 Checklist. The course is based on the final published ISO 9001-2008 International Standard. The class will take approximately 2 hours and upon successful completion, a certificate for 0.2 CEUs will be issued. The subscription length is 90 days.
