FMEA for Beginners: Taking Preventive Action
This class is step-by-step method for conducting Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). The class defines the role, methodologies, and implementation of FMEAs as an essential component of a management system. Specifically, students will determine FMEA: 1) objectives, 2) potential failure cause and effect, 3) assessment of risks and 4) preventive action plans. A key feature for closing the loop on the FMEA learning process is applying what you learned by completion of an assignment for marking by an instructor. The FMEA for Beginners course consists of a series of lessons, illustrations, diagrams, examples, supplemental handout information, interactive exercises and quizzes. A handy desk reference and QualityWBT Glossary are included in the class as pdf files. Successful completion of the class will result in a certificate for 5 contact hours (0.5 CEUs). The subscription length is 90 days (plus one free 30-day subscription extension, if needed).
