Basic (Commication) Skills Used in Auditing

The course is designed to provide an understanding of how common (basic) skills are applied by auditors. The skills covered in this class are time management techniques, effective communicating, resolving conflict, and presentation methods. The training may be used for professional development, as a refresher or for preparing for the ASQ Certified Quality Auditor examination. The modular one hour class is taken from lesson 4 of the Auditing (CQA) Fundamentals II class. The class is intended for those interested in conducting system or process audits using any performance standard (ISO 9001, FDA GMPs, HACCP, FAA, QS 9000 and so on). The class duration is rated for one hour and successful completion of the course will result in a certificate for 0.1 CEUs. The subscription length for the class is 90 days.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
J.P. Russell
is owner of JP Russell and Associates (www.JPR@JP-Russell.com) and Director of Operations for QualityWBT Center for Education (www.QualityWBT.com). Mr. Russell is an ASQ Fellow, an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, and former RAB QMS Lead Auditor. He is a member of ASQ, Institute of Internal Auditors, Standards Engineering Society, US TAG TC176 and Secretary of TG 9001-9004. Mr. Russell has been a speaker at several national conferences and regional organizational meetings and is an ASQ qualified instructor.
