Identifying Environmental (ISO 14001) Aspects and Impacts
The course is designed to be a step-by-step, self-paced guided process for identifying environmental aspects and determining significant impacts within your organization. When the class/project is complete, the resulting process and documentation will be conformant to ISO 14001 (international environmental requirements standard) and you will be able to determine your organization’s environmental risks. It is intended for person or team members in an organization tasked with identifying environmental aspects and determining environmental impacts to the organization. The step-by-step project results in real tangible deliverables, yet is fun and productive, too. Nancy Boudreau, the expert who provided the content for the class, states that: “Determining environmental risks and addressing them is the most important and most difficult part of implementing ISO 14001.” The Identifying Environmental Aspects and Impacts course consists of a series of lessons, illustrations, diagrams, examples, supplemental handout information, project management forms, interactive exercises, and quizzes. A handy desk reference, on-line access to ISO 14001 and QualityWBT Glossary are included in the class. The course should take approximately 12 hours to complete. You will earn 1.2 CEUs upon successful completion of the course. Since this class is designed to be a project guide, the subscription period is 180 days (plus one free 30-day subscription extension, if needed).
